With her lived experience as the mother of her daughter who is Deaf, Dixie is passionate about working with families of children who refer on the newborn hearing screening and are in the process of undergoing additional hearing testing. She works with families and primary care providers each day to make sure families are informed, prepared and supported through the hearing testing process.
